How's Your Soul Care?

 Hey Gorgeous!

I am so glad that you're here! Are you feeling over stressed and over run by the holidays already and they haven't even begun? Same girl, same.

We have a very busy end of November and most of December here in my world, how about you? Through it all your self care and soul care are so important to try and keep at the top of your list for you!

Sparkle and Soul: How to Slay the Holidays with Soul Care at the Top of Your List

Ah, the holidays—a time for twinkling lights, festive playlists, and way too many cookie trays calling your name. It’s a season of magic and joy, but let’s not sugarcoat it (even though, yes, sugar cookies are life): the holidays can also be a lot.

So, how do you keep your sparkle when the season is throwing glitter-covered chaos your way? Two words: Soul Care.

What Is Soul Care, and Why Is It So Fab?

Soul care is like that secret ingredient in your grandma’s holiday recipe—it makes everything better. But instead of enhancing cookies, it’s all about enhancing you. It’s the deep, meaningful, vibe-raising stuff that keeps you grounded, glowing, and connected to what really matters.

Think of soul care as your holiday glitter: it doesn’t just add sparkle—it sticks (in the best way). It’s your personal blend of peace, joy, and a dash of extra fabulousness that helps you shine from the inside out.

Why Your Soul Needs Some TLC This Season

Let’s be real: the holidays can leave you feeling like a half-decorated tree—pretty on the outside, but barely holding it together inside. Soul care ensures you stay lit, darling, in all the best ways.

Here’s why it’s non-negotiable:

  • Stress Who? When you take care of your soul, that mile-long to-do list suddenly feels less intimidating.
  • Joy Upgrade: When you’re aligned, even wrapping paper scraps look like confetti.
  • Better Vibes, Better Relationships: Your soul’s glow is contagious—your loved ones will thank you.

Sassy Tips to Slay Your Soul Care Game

  1. Channel Your Inner Holiday Diva
Start your day like the queen you are—with a little ritual that sets the tone. Sip coffee out of your most extra mug, journal like your life’s a bestseller, or blast BeyoncĂ© while you set your intentions.

  2. Drop the People-Pleasing Like It’s Last Season’s Decor
PSA: You’re not Santa. You don’t need to be everywhere, do everything, or please everyone. Protect your time and say “no” to anything that doesn’t light you up—guilt-free.

  3. Deck Your Own Halls (a.k.a. Create a Sacred Space)
Find a cozy nook in your home and make it your personal chill zone. Throw in a fluffy blanket, twinkle lights, and maybe even a little holiday glam—because you deserve a space that’s just for you.

  4. Sleep Like It’s a Sport
Forget pulling all-nighters wrapping gifts. Sleep is your best accessory—get plenty, and you’ll sparkle brighter than the Rockefeller tree.

  5. Gratitude, But Make It Fashion
Keep a chic little notebook in your bag to jot down moments that make you smile: a sweet compliment, a cozy cup of cocoa, or that glorious moment when someone else volunteered to clean up dinner.

  6. Keep It Holy (or Whatever Feeds Your Soul)
Whether it’s a festive church service, meditating under the glow of the tree, or just some quiet moments with your favorite holiday playlist, carve out time for spiritual connection.

  7. Perfection Is for Ornaments, Not People
No one’s going to remember if your cookies look Pinterest-perfect. Focus on fun, not perfection. (Pro tip: when in doubt, sprinkle glitter—on cookies, gifts, or yourself.✨)

A Holiday Soul-Care Glow-Up Ritual

Pour yourself some cocoa (extra marshmallows, obviously), light a candle that smells like Christmas morning, and take 15 minutes to just be. Journal about what you’re loving this season, what’s stressing you out, and what you’re looking forward to. Then, toast to yourself—because you’re slaying it.

Final Thoughts: Stay Sassy, Stay Soulful

The holidays aren’t about checking every box on your to-do list; they’re about feeling connected, joyful, and oh-so-fabulous. So, this season, don’t just survive—thrive. Take care of your soul, sprinkle that glittery energy everywhere you go, and show the world your shine.

In your corner and rooting for you!

Is Anyone Listening?

Hey Babes~ It's funny to me sometimes that, when I sit down to write, what I had in mind totally shifts, changes, does a 360 and I end up sharing something off the cuff that I haven't even thought through.  That's what's happening in this post. Maybe it's divine intervention? Maybe it's ADHD. HA~Anyway, whatever it is, here we go!  Do you ever wonder, is anyone listening? I mean, really listening? I heard a quote once, unsure where it came from, but it stuck with me. Maybe it was a movie, if you've heard it, will you please tell me in the comments? Anyway, it was something like, "is it all just clicks and whistles on your end?" Do you feel that way sometimes, or all the time when talking to someone else?  Side note: The even funner part of winging it, is I have no idea where this is going to head, so, I hope you hang with me. If for nothing more than comedic relief if it bombs horribly.  We talk. All the time. To our spouse, kids, boss, co-worker...

Welcome Back!

Hey Babes! I've been gone for a bit because I was trying to figure out how to freaking add comments to this thing!  I didn't want to keep creating content that you can't interact with, and I was kind of bummed the first few posts didn't have comments!  So, here we are. Back again!  Really what I wanted to say in this post is that you can do THE THING! Whatever it is you've got your heart set on, you can do and accomplish!  When I started this journey of wanting to have more of an online presence, I had never, in the history of ever, had any idea how to create a website. But I was determined. So I hopped in and just started clicking around and figured it out! I used to say that I was stuck in nineteen dickety two when it came to electronics. My limit? Myself. I had this limiting belief that electronics were hard and that I just couldn't do it. Sound familiar?  You can! You are not too old, too set in your ways, too, whatever you keep telling yourself! If I can do...

The ALMOST end to Summer!

Hey Bestie, Welcome Back!  Yes, antother hiatus taken. Totally unplanned and I vow to get better at showing up here for you!  So what gives this time? So much.  I typically sit down to write to you on the weekends. Well, there has been a lot happening and the weekends ended up being either a blur or a total veg time with literally scrolling aimlessly on socials or just in front the tv. It started with mom. She had a toenail that seemed to be maybe in grown. She tried to cut it out herself. It then got inflammed and then there was a small section that turned black. SO scary.  Well, she's also kind of stubborn. I tried to first get her to go to a podiatrist. She thought that maybe there was a piece still in there that she didn't quite get out. Well, she also has neuropathy and touching her feet is painful. So it went untreated. I then suggested that maybe we just have the people that do her nails try and pull it out. Finally that suggestion seemed a good one. The...
