Unlocking the Power of Mindset

Hey there, beautiful souls! 🌟 Carri The Bubbly Boss Babe here again! :)

We are back from the weekend getaway and let me just tell you how wonderful it was for this mama's heart! Super amazing to have all the kiddos under the same roof for an ENTIRE weekend!
We had so much fun, got to see an amazing concert....and let me add, if you enjoy Creed and 3Doors Down, do yourself the favor of seeing them in concert! WOW! Totally blown away.

Ok let me move on!!!

Are you ready for me to get juicy? Are you ready to dive into a topic that’s close to my heart—mindset? If you’ve ever wondered why some days feel like you’re on top of the world and others feel like you’re trudging through mud, the answer might be in the way you’re thinking.

Let’s explore how your mindset can make or break your day, and I’ll share some actionable tips to help you harness the power of a positive mindset!

The Foundation of Your Day: Mindset Matters

Mindset isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of how we experience life. Every thought, belief, and expectation you hold shapes your reality. Imagine your mind as a garden—what you plant and nurture will grow. If you’re sowing seeds of doubt, fear, or negativity, that’s what will flourish. On the other hand, if you plant seeds of positivity, confidence, and growth, your life will blossom in ways you never imagined.

Let me add. Yes, you can have bad days. Yes you sometimes just have shit. It will happen. No matter how much you work on mindset, no matter how much work you do on yourself, you will not always have amazing days. I want to pop this in here so that you know that this is SO normal. I do not want you to feel like there's anything wrong with you.

Also, I don't want you to think that there's a magical day that you will come to where you don't have to work on mindset any more. Yes, it will get easier, but it may or may not ever go away.....I mean that part of your brain that does the crap to you and takes you down a dirt road of BS. It's ok to head down that road. It's ok to have things go wrong. It's ok to feel all the feels. My point is that it's imporatant to not unpack your bags and live there. I am here to give you the tips to go through it and come out on the other side!

The Impact of a Positive Mindset on Daily Life

  1. Boosts Your Mood: Starting your day with a positive mindset sets the tone for everything that follows. It’s like putting on a pair of rose-colored glasses—suddenly, challenges become opportunities, and stressors become manageable.

  2. Increases Productivity: When you believe in your abilities and focus on solutions rather than problems, you’re more likely to take action. A positive mindset helps you stay motivated and driven, even when the going gets tough.

  3. Improves Relationships: Your mindset influences how you interact with others. Approaching conversations with an open, positive attitude can strengthen your connections and create a more supportive environment.

  4. Enhances Resilience: Life is full of ups and downs, but a strong, positive mindset helps you bounce back faster. It’s not about avoiding difficulties but facing them with the belief that you can overcome them.

Tips for Cultivating a Positive Mindset

  1. Start Your Day with Gratitude: Each morning, take a moment to reflect on what you’re grateful for. This simple practice shifts your focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant in your life.

  2. Challenge Negative Thoughts: When you catch yourself thinking negatively, pause and reframe the thought. Ask yourself if it’s really true, and if not, replace it with a more empowering perspective.

  3. Surround Yourself with Positivity: The people, media, and environments you expose yourself to can greatly influence your mindset. Choose to be around those who uplift and inspire you.

  4. Practice Self-Compassion: Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer a friend. Acknowledge your efforts and progress, even if things don’t go perfectly.

  5. Set Intentions, Not Just Goals: While goals are important, setting daily intentions helps you stay aligned with your values and keep a positive mindset throughout the day.

Is Anyone Listening?

Hey Babes~ It's funny to me sometimes that, when I sit down to write, what I had in mind totally shifts, changes, does a 360 and I end up sharing something off the cuff that I haven't even thought through.  That's what's happening in this post. Maybe it's divine intervention? Maybe it's ADHD. HA~Anyway, whatever it is, here we go!  Do you ever wonder, is anyone listening? I mean, really listening? I heard a quote once, unsure where it came from, but it stuck with me. Maybe it was a movie, if you've heard it, will you please tell me in the comments? Anyway, it was something like, "is it all just clicks and whistles on your end?" Do you feel that way sometimes, or all the time when talking to someone else?  Side note: The even funner part of winging it, is I have no idea where this is going to head, so, I hope you hang with me. If for nothing more than comedic relief if it bombs horribly.  We talk. All the time. To our spouse, kids, boss, co-worker...

Welcome Back!

Hey Babes! I've been gone for a bit because I was trying to figure out how to freaking add comments to this thing!  I didn't want to keep creating content that you can't interact with, and I was kind of bummed the first few posts didn't have comments!  So, here we are. Back again!  Really what I wanted to say in this post is that you can do THE THING! Whatever it is you've got your heart set on, you can do and accomplish!  When I started this journey of wanting to have more of an online presence, I had never, in the history of ever, had any idea how to create a website. But I was determined. So I hopped in and just started clicking around and figured it out! I used to say that I was stuck in nineteen dickety two when it came to electronics. My limit? Myself. I had this limiting belief that electronics were hard and that I just couldn't do it. Sound familiar?  You can! You are not too old, too set in your ways, too, whatever you keep telling yourself! If I can do...

The ALMOST end to Summer!

Hey Bestie, Welcome Back!  Yes, antother hiatus taken. Totally unplanned and I vow to get better at showing up here for you!  So what gives this time? So much.  I typically sit down to write to you on the weekends. Well, there has been a lot happening and the weekends ended up being either a blur or a total veg time with literally scrolling aimlessly on socials or just in front the tv. It started with mom. She had a toenail that seemed to be maybe in grown. She tried to cut it out herself. It then got inflammed and then there was a small section that turned black. SO scary.  Well, she's also kind of stubborn. I tried to first get her to go to a podiatrist. She thought that maybe there was a piece still in there that she didn't quite get out. Well, she also has neuropathy and touching her feet is painful. So it went untreated. I then suggested that maybe we just have the people that do her nails try and pull it out. Finally that suggestion seemed a good one. The...
